Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which Safetydiverse provides refunds for consulting sessions, educational programs, and digital products purchased through safetydiverse.world.

1. Overview

At Safetydiverse, we want you to feel confident when purchasing our consulting services and educational products. This policy explains when refunds are available, how to request them, and what to expect during the refund process. We comply with applicable consumer protection laws in California and the United States, and extend fair refund practices to all customers regardless of location.

Free content on our website — including articles, recipe ideas, and general planning resources — does not involve payment and is therefore not subject to this refund policy.

3. Discovery Session Refunds

3.1 Before the Session

If you cancel a scheduled Discovery Session at least forty-eight hours before the agreed start time, you are eligible for a full refund of the session fee. Cancellations made between twenty-four and forty-eight hours before the session may receive a fifty percent refund or the option to reschedule once at no additional charge, at our discretion.

Cancellations made less than twenty-four hours before the session, or failure to attend without prior notice, are not eligible for a refund. We understand that emergencies occur — contact us to discuss exceptional circumstances.

3.2 After the Session

Because Discovery Sessions deliver immediate value through live consultation and a written summary, refunds are generally not available after the session has been completed. If you believe the session did not match the description provided on our Solutions page, contact us within seven days with specific details. We will review your concern and may offer a partial refund, a complimentary follow-up session, or another resolution at our discretion.

4. Plan Outline Package Refunds

The Plan Outline Package includes a Discovery Session plus written deliverables (weekly menu template, grocery list framework, and recipe links). Refund eligibility depends on the stage of delivery:

  • Before any session or materials are delivered: Full refund if requested within fourteen days of purchase.
  • After the session but before written materials are delivered: Partial refund equal to the value of undelivered materials, or full rescheduling of the session portion if the session quality did not meet our stated standards.
  • After all materials are delivered: Refunds are not available unless the materials are materially different from what was described at the time of purchase. Requests must be submitted within fourteen days of material delivery.

5. Extended Program Refunds

The Extended Program spans four weeks with multiple sessions and habit-tracking worksheets. Refund terms are as follows:

  • Within the first seven days, before the first session: Full refund available upon written request.
  • After the first session but before the second session: Partial refund calculated as the remaining unused portion of the program fee, minus a twenty percent administrative fee.
  • After the second session: No refunds are available. You retain access to all materials delivered up to that point.

If we cancel or significantly reschedule the Extended Program on our end, you may choose between a full refund or enrollment in the next available program cycle.

6. Digital Educational Products

Standalone digital products — such as PDF guides, printable checklists, and recipe collections sold separately from consulting packages — are subject to the following refund terms:

  • Full refund within fourteen days of purchase if you have not downloaded or accessed the digital files.
  • Once digital files have been downloaded or accessed, refunds are not available due to the nature of digital goods, except where files are defective, incomplete, or materially different from the product description.
  • If you experience technical issues preventing access to purchased files, contact us within seven days. We will resolve the access issue or provide a full refund if resolution is not possible.

7. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please contact us with the following information:

  1. Your full name and email address used during purchase
  2. Date of purchase and service or product name
  3. Reason for the refund request
  4. Any supporting documentation (e.g., scheduling confirmation, delivery receipt)

We acknowledge receipt of refund requests within two business days and aim to provide a decision within five business days.

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed using the original payment method whenever possible. Please allow five to ten business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution. If the original payment method is no longer available, we will work with you to arrange an alternative refund method.

Refund amounts are calculated in United States dollars. If you purchased in a different currency, the refunded amount may differ slightly due to exchange rate fluctuations applied by your bank or payment provider.

9. Non-Refundable Items and Situations

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Services fully delivered as described, where the customer simply changed their mind
  • Digital products that have been downloaded or accessed, unless defective
  • Missed sessions without adequate prior notice (less than twenty-four hours)
  • Partial program completion beyond the refund window described in Section 5
  • Third-party fees such as payment processing charges, which are non-recoverable

10. Upgrades and Credit Transfers

If you purchased a Discovery Session and wish to upgrade to a Plan Outline Package or Extended Program within thirty days, the fee paid for the Discovery Session will be credited toward the upgraded package price. This credit transfer is an alternative to a refund and may be requested through the same contact channels described in Section 7.

11. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Chargebacks initiated without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in suspension of access to purchased materials and future services. We provide detailed transaction records to payment processors when disputing unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks.

12. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. Residents of the European Union may have additional rights under the Consumer Rights Directive, including a fourteen-day withdrawal period for distance contracts where services have not yet been fully performed. California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act.

If any provision of this policy conflicts with mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction, the mandatory legal requirements take precedence.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in our service offerings, pricing, or legal requirements. The date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Changes apply to purchases made after the updated policy is published. Purchases made under a previous version of this policy are governed by the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
